After an £80M star signs a personal contract with Chelsea, an announcement will be made.

Moises Caicedo of Brighton is being pursued by CHELSEA after personal terms were reached.

Chelsea is particularly interested in signing the talented Caicedo because they believe they need to add another box-to-box midfielder to their lineup to relieve some of the load on their midfield.

Tony Bloom, the owner of Albion, rejected Chelsea's opening offer of £60 million for the 21-year-old in the January transfer window; however, the Blues will try to bolster their squad at the end of the summer, and he is on their shopping list.

Although Mauricio Pochettino reportedly requested the signing of Caicedo as a replacement for N'Golo Kante, he has also been mentioned on the wishlists of Arsenal, Manchester United, and Liverpool.

Chelsea and the midfielder have allegedly reached a personal agreement, according to the Goal website.

The article continues, "Negotiations over the fee for the 21-year-old are still ongoing between the Londoners and Brighton, with his current employers holding out for their £80 million asking price."

Caicedo is a very good football player, but despite that, he is not worth the amount of money being discussed. Why would you spend so much money on a player who will most likely be a bench player?

He has been excellent for Brighton this year, but playing for a team like CHELSEA is a huge step up, especially with everything the Blues are going through.

Fans will have to wait and watch whether or not he turns out to be a great addition to the team. However, the Blues shouldn't spend the amount of money that is being discussed.
