“Goodbye!” - A former Chelsea player has a message for any current players who don't want to be there.
Now that silly season has arrived, Chelsea appears to be making deals left, right, and centre.
The drama and whispers are already escalating, and as is customary, Chelsea will once again be one of the busiest clubs during the summer transfer season, just as they were during the previous two years.
They have a large number of players they could sell in addition to some possible newcomers who might come through the door.
Recently, a number of current players have been associated with other teams, and there have also been suggestions that some of these players are attempting to leave.
Well, Chelsea veteran has a message for these players that he yells out loud and clear in his newest exclusive and extended Chelsea FC column for Si & Dan Talk Chelsea this week!
And anyone who wants to go should just say "goodbye"!
To be honest, I don't think Chelsea's decision to sell players has anything to do with it. If they are able to collect money from players, they must do so from the person who will pay for them. They are not in charge of that. However, I can appreciate the frustration that some supporters may feel when players join other teams.
It's not my opinion of football that after playing for one team, supporting them and kissing their badge, players sign with another two months later.
"What if you spent three years playing for Chelsea and were there during the club's disastrous last season before signing with Arsenal or United? Goodbye! I don't like that they just want to get away from the issue instead of trying to find a solution. Even Mount, who I respect, doesn't make sense to me as to why he would switch from Chelsea to United. That is my opinion.
Frank said it very well!
