A player that "really is a waste of money" according to Wesley Sneijder is a Chelsea player.

Right now, Chelsea are getting the shaft from the media, rival supporters, pundits, and ex-players.

Following the hiring of their third manager in a single season last week, things are becoming much worse for the owners of Chelsea.

Many people are not only questioning this decision but also many of the decisions that the new club owners have made since taking over, particularly given all the money they have spent, since Frank Lampard has lost two straight games without scoring a goal.

Wesley Sneijder, a former player for Real Madrid and the Netherlands who is now a pundit, is the most recent person to criticize.

Last night, as he watched Chelsea's loss to Madrid, he singled out Wesley Fofana as a waste of money.

Sneijder reportedly commented, as quoted by Sport Witness: "That Wesley Fofana too, recruited for €80m, that really is a waste of money. Perhaps there is too much strain at such a large club.

Personally, I am opposed. Since making his injury comeback, Fofana has been fantastic for Chelsea, and one poor performance does not render him a waste of money.
