Chelsea vs. Arsenal: Paul Merson perplexed by goal-shy Prediction for the Premier League match: Blues
Gunners are predicted to win the London derby with ease.
On Tuesday, Chelsea will cross London and hammer Manchester City.
After a recent slump, the Gunners may enter the Premier League match in second place after playing one more game than City, who play Fulham two days earlier.
The former Arsenal midfielder Merson has said that Chelsea's problems pale in comparison to their own.
Since taking over as interim manager, Frank Lampard has lost all five games, with scoring goals being a particular problem.
Merson remarked for Sportskeeda, "I just don't see this being a hard game for Arsenal."
"If Chelsea won, I'd be stunned. I'm pondering where their next victory might come from as I look at their schedule. They do have Nottingham Forest at home coming up, but it's the one game that appears to be pretty simple.
"I can only imagine an Arsenal victory here.
"Considering the depth of Chelsea's roster, they shouldn't be where they are. Chelsea lacks a strong center-forward. They appear to be unable to understand where the objectives are coming from.
Chelsea has lost five of their past six encounters with Arsenal, which only compounds their problems going into the game next week.
