Chelsea would be fighting for their lives in the Premier League after being promised not a single point by Frank Lampard.

Jason Cundy thinks Frank Lampard is lucky not to be in the relegation fight and that Chelsea won't get another point this year.

The Blues' 2-0 loss against Brentford on Wednesday marked their fifth straight setback and eighth game without a victory.

Chelsea are preparing for a very challenging few weeks with Lampard's team now in 11th place and ten points clear of the relegation zone.

The Premier League's top four teams at the moment—Arsenal, Manchester City, Manchester United, and Newcastle—are all included in the west London team's next six matchups, so their schedule won't be doing them any favours.

Cundy, a former Chelsea player, provided a dismal assessment of his team after seeing Chelsea's fortunes in recent months.

I'm actually desensitised to it now', he stated on The Sports Bar. What's happening at Stamford Bridge has me cold. From top to bottom, everything about Chelsea Football Club is off.

"I went there tonight believing that the best we could hope for was a draw. Brentford. We're in a mess. Forget the playing group; the club is a mess. Nothing can be done to avoid it.

"I don't believe we will gain another point this year. As long as we avoid being demoted, the season's conclusion, reset, and fresh start will be the finest thing that can happen.

We currently have 39 points, but I don't believe we will add any more. I really don't.

"If there were 12 games left, we would be fighting for a playoff spot. I don't say that casually.

Thomas Tuchel is the only factor in our success. We would be in the lead if he didn't receive ten points.

It doesn't matter who is in the dugout, Cundy continued. We went to the club as a result.

"I'm going there now with the idea that if we can get a corner, we might be able to get a shot on goal.

"We're not going to score. We've only scored once in seven games, and it was a Conor Gallagher shot that deflected in.

We'll lose to Arsenal, have to play against Man City and Newcastle, and the only other game we might win is when Forest visits Stamford Bridge.

"It's awful! They could come and beat us!"

"If they don't get it right, Chelsea will be in a relegation battle next season," Cundy said in conclusion.
