new signature Christopher Nkunku discusses the 'main aspect' in his decision to switch to Chelsea.
Early this week, Christopher Nkunku's transfer to Chelsea was made official. For months, the Blues' supporter base was aware that there was a formal agreement between RB Leipzig and the team.
It seems inescapable. But as soon as the official confirmation arrives, it is always an adrenaline rush. Fabrizio Romano claims that Leipzig received a payment of almost €60 million.

He has now completed his first interview since joining Chelsea. He was asked to describe the "key factor" that led him to choose Stamford Bridge while he was addressing the official club media. He answered:
"I believe the project was beneficial to me. I can improve both as a player and a guy through this project. After all, this is a good city, and I definitely want to get better at football, win trophies, and get better as a person. Therefore, I believe that this is a good project for me right now. Without a doubt, this project is good.
fantastic signing
Last time around, Chelsea had a terrible season and placed 12th in the league. Perhaps Nkunku decided to come here when we still had a chance to qualify for Europe.
However, the reality is that Chelsea needs players who will stick around and work hard to help the squad win again. This summer's transfer market has demonstrated to us that not all of our present players meet those criteria.
Nkunku appears to be up for the task at hand. The 25-year-old France international's outstanding ability to set up and score goals up front makes it an excellent signing.
In 36 games across competitions at the end of the previous season, he had scored 23 goals and provided nine assists. Here at the Bridge, having those numbers would be ideal.
The goal of Chelsea appears to be to fill their roster with players who are either in their prime or are still in their formative years. They appear to be ruthless in their quest. Nkunku will undoubtedly be a star player on a Chelsea team that may be quite young and inexperienced when the new season rolls around. We can hopefully put our striker concerns to rest for the next 5-7 years.
