With a 14-word message, Frank Lampard makes a significant Chelsea admission about "Mauricio Pochettino."

Frank Lampard provides fans with an update on Chelsea's efforts to name a new manager now that the wait for Mauricio Pochettino is almost over.

After yet another defeat, Frank Lampard has said that he has no desire to continue leading Chelsea as manager or coach beyond this year. On Sunday, the 44-year-old was defeated once more, this time by Manchester City, who had just been named league winners.

It worsens an already dismal recent personal record and overall club run of form that has eliminated any chance of a top-half finish. Even though Lampard spent the majority of his interim tenure in command without having anything to play for, his team's performances and results have been far from stellar.

There are only two games left before a new era begins, which is excellent news for fans who are once again worn out by a protracted and profoundly unpleasant season. Despite not having been officially announced, Mauricio Pochettino is still anticipated to become the third permanent head coach hired by Todd Boehly-Clearlake Capital in the previous 12 months.

Pochettino has reached an agreement to take over at the end of the current campaign, and a public announcement will now officially confirm his appointment. He will be a distant spectator during games against Manchester United and Newcastle in the interim.

This is Lampard's last opportunity to repay the loving supporters who have sung his name throughout this losing streak. He won't likely be with the club the following year, though. Lampard does not intend to stay, despite the club's wish to keep one internally chosen coach on the staff list, even for a new manager.

"No. When questioned about the possibility of assuming a new position inside the club, he responded, "I'm sure a new manager will come in and bring his own coaches. Lampard still want to return to managing at the highest level. He has maintained his upbeat attitude despite the string of losses at Stamford Bridge, which is unlikely to aid that cause.

He outlined the benefits of the experience before the game. He said, "I have liked it. "I often am asked that. In football, you must be realistic even though you constantly desire to achieve achievements. Everyone talked to me about their dreams of playing in the Champions League when I first entered this. The truthful response to the question "It's been done before; can we do it again?" is that we are in the league where we are for a reason.

"At that moment, our strategy was to attempt to defeat Madrid and then perhaps City to get to the championship game. That was a challenging one. How many minor victories can I attempt to influence behind the scenes will make up the remainder of my job. You can't always influence the outcome.

There is generally a lot of work to be done here. Because I have a strong bond with the club, you can make even minor differences to the group's members. When I leave, I want to be able to say that. The athletes that want to grow and are easy to work with make my job enjoyable, and I believe they will all have successful careers here in the future.

Pochettino will soon receive the assignment, and Lampard will be able to take a step back and continue to observe.
