Southampton star might be Pochettino's first acquisition for Chelsea.
Ben Jacobs of CBS told GIVEMESPORT that Chelsea is one of the teams vying for Southampton midfielder Roméo Lavia.
La La, a 19-year-old football player, has been connected to several EPL teams since Jacobs predicts that he would quit the Saints if they are demoted this year.
Arsenal and Manchester United are reportedly also interested in the Southampton star, who is estimated to fetch roughly £45 million, according to Football Insider. This means that Chelsea will have competition for Lavia's services.
In an interview with GIVEMESPORT, Jacobs stated: "If Southampton are to be eliminated, Lavia will almost definitely be eliminated as well, and I believe that a number of bidders will recognise that there is a very strong bargain there. Chelsea are another to keep an eye on.
We won't know if Chelsea would make a play for him until the summer.
