Kerr is once more the hero as Chelsea wins the FA Cup for women by a score of 1-0. United States: Sam Kerr wins the Women's FA Cup for the Blues for a record third time in a row.
In front of a record-breaking crowd at Wembley, Sam Kerr was Chelsea's match-winner once again as her goal ended the Women's FA Cup Final.

Despite playing second fiddle to Manchester United for the majority of the afternoon, Chelsea prevailed thanks to a goal from Kerr midway through the second half.

With the victory, Chelsea wins their 13th major trophy under manager Emma Hayes while United is denied their first major trophy in history.

A record-breaking 77,390 spectators watched the women's domestic game at Wembley and were treated to a spectacular start as United scored after only 20 seconds.

Despite being the superior team in the first half, United's celebrations were short-lived since Ella Toone was just slightly offside in the buildup. They also had fantastic chances through Millie Turner and Leah Galton.

Despite having trouble getting going in the first half, Chelsea came near to scoring when Lauren James' looping header was beautifully tipped onto the post by United custodian Mary Earps.

At the beginning of the second half, United still had the upper hand, but Chelsea's game changed when Pernille Harder came off the bench.

When Harder broke the offside trap down the right and crossed for Kerr to bury a finish at the back post, Harder made a significant contribution and set up the winning goal.

Kerr scored in the FA Cup final for the third time in a row, and she celebrated by performing a backflip.
