Thiago Silva will remain at Chelsea for the upcoming season, according to the defender's wife Belle.
According to reports this week, Silva is reportedly considering returning to Fluminense, the Brazilian club where he started his youth career at the age of 14, and may do so this summer.
Despite the center-back extended his Chelsea contract earlier this year through the summer of 2024, Fluminense president Mario Bittencourt has expressed the club's intention to bring Silva back to Brazil.
Two enormous Silva banners were unfurled by Chelsea fans prior to the 2-2 draw with Nottingham Forest at Stamford Bridge. The 38-year-old has been a fan favorite ever since moving to west London in 2020.
