That, well, didn't last very long.
Chelsea is behind at the Bernabeu after an outstanding first 20 minutes in which they produced a couple chances.
In the end, Karim Benzema had it too easy. He only needed to slot in the rebound after Kepa stopped Vinicius Jr.'s shot.
To attempt and sit so deep for 90 minutes was awful strategy, bad goalkeeping, and bad defense. There is still time to play again, but a different strategy will be required.
