Boehly will follow Newcastle United's owners' successful formula.

The former Chelsea player criticized Todd Boehly's decisions as owner of the Blues and suggested that he start imitating PIF's formula for success.

It's no secret that Newcastle United has been having a great time ever since the takeover in October 2021. The vibe around the club and the team's success on the field are testaments to the initiative the new owners and Eddie Howe initiated.

Nonetheless, Chelsea is an exception to this rule. The Blues appear to have declined in the other way from the Magpies, with a bottom-half finish growing more plausible week by week.

Graham Potter was fired by the club's new American owner Todd Boehly after only seven months in charge, giving the impression that he was going back on his promise of a long-term project.

Following that choice, former Chelsea player Florent Malouda criticized Boehly and the team for getting rid of Potter and insisted that they should emulate Newcastle United's success.

"People frequently concentrate on coaches and players, but as Newcastle's experience shows, you also need to develop a project. What do you expect the best manager on the market to do if you hire him but don't let him have a part in choosing the players or give him time?

"I believe that at a large club like Chelsea, and perhaps this is what the owners are learning this season, you need the right people in the right positions. It's not just about owners and players; everyone has a role to play, and that is how you build a club that functions properly," said the author.

"Not just in the pitch, but also in the areas of administration, marketing, and communications. You must have a true team.

The Magpies' on-field performance and the turnaround they've achieved from the conclusion of last season to this point in April were then complimented by Malouda.

"This season, Newcastle has been a pleasant surprise in the Premier League. Newcastle has picked the route they want the club to go in and this season, thanks to their project and the fact that they are now under new ownership, they have made the appropriate moves.

It's encouraging to observe some of Newcastle's performances, which rank third in the league and are remarkably consistent. I admire how Newcastle is creating something unique.

This season, they have been a very welcome surprise for me.
