Romelu Lukaku might be given a third opportunity at Chelsea as the Blues hire a new manager.
According to Matt Law's story today, Romelu Lukaku will be given another opportunity to start at Chelsea under new manager Mauricio Pochettino.
Although his play has recently improved, the striker has struggled this season while on loan from Inter Milan. The Italian team still doesn't appear to have the resources to make that loan permanent, and it's possible they don't even want to.
It would resolve two of Chelsea's problems, including how the hell to deal with Lukaku and how they might be able to pay for a quality striker.
The real question is whether Lukaku is capable of succeeding in the Premier League, particularly in light of his failures last season. Many of his supporters would assert that they are positive he is not.
Goals can fix a lot of problems, but there are concerns about more than just Lukaku's mentality because he has seriously damaged his relationships with Chelsea's supporters.
