Jamie O'Hara criticized Marc Cucurella's play for Chelsea tonight against Real Madrid.

He criticized the Spaniard on Twitter for his role in Ben Chilwell's red card tonight at the Bernabeu.

The defending European champions easily defeated the Blues 2-0 in the first leg of the quarterfinals.

The Spanish team was comfortably ahead for the majority of their third match in as many years between the two teams.

When Chilwell was dismissed in the second half for a deliberate foul on Rodrygo, Chelsea significantly aided their adversaries' cause.

After the red card, Madrid added a second, but the Blues fought back to keep the tie alive when it returns to Stamford Bridge the following week.

In the second leg, with Chilwell suspended due to a red card, Chelsea will look to Cucurella to fill the left-back position.

Cucurella struck
O'Hara was very critical of the Spain international's performance coming off the bench, so he might not be a huge fan of the player playing.

In his words, "Cucurella is a disgrace absolutely killed Chelsea."

Chelsea will be hoping that Kalidou Koulibaly's injury is not too bad to keep him from participating in the second leg the following week.

Against a threatening Madrid onslaught, the Senegal international was nearly at his peak again. However, he was pushed off early in the second half, allowing Cucurella to take the field.

If Trevoh Chalobah is necessary at Stamford Bridge, it might be a huge opportunity for him to perform well given that the Spain player will almost probably have to play at left-back the following week.

He came off the bench tonight and helped the team hold the fort in the final 30 minutes. He has frequently performed well while playing little.
