To "find joy again," Christian Pulisic says he wants to leave Chelsea.

One existing player is desperate to depart as the Blues begin yet another summer buying spree.

Christian Pulisic has stated that in order to "find joy again," he plans to quit Chelsea this summer.

The 24-year-old has fallen down the pecking order following a promising debut season and was given just eight appearances last season, failing to live up to expectations since his £58 million arrival in 2019.

Juventus expressed interest in Pulisic earlier in June. The American is prepared to consider all options in quest of a more prominent first-team position. Italy is one of the countries showing interest in Pulisic.

The moment has come for Pulisic to decide what is best for his career and find a place where he can play, be trusted, and feel confident in what he is doing, the player told ESPN.

"I definitely want to rediscover that joy at the club level."

Only one year remains on Pulisic's contract, and according to Standard Sport, Chelsea is prepared to cash in after acquiring Christopher Nkunku for £52 million this summer and planning to add more attacking alternatives.
