Cesc Fabregas Now responding to Chelsea's appointment of Mauricio Pochettino as their new manager,

Cesc Fabregas believes that Mauricio Pochettino is a highly qualified contender to lead Chelsea.

Reasons for Why Chelsea Should Use David Datro Fofana
He told The Athletic that he believes the Argentine will be able to instill in young players a great level of confidence that might be crucial for the squad moving forward.
Pochettino's hiring as a permanent employee was finally confirmed this week after weeks of persistent rumours that he was the sole qualified candidate.

Although he defeated Luis Enrique and Julian Nagelsmann for the position, he will now be fully aware of the enormity of the task.
The Blues' final standing from the previous campaign was 12, therefore they need this appointment to go well in order to advance.
Fabregas now acknowledges that he wants to see Chelsea return to their proper position while also supporting Pochettino.
Fabregas applauds Pochettino's success
He said, "I haven't worked with him, but I'm sure you've heard of him." I've met him a couple times while on holiday in Ibiza.

Naturally, we have spoken after games as I played against him while he was at Spurs. He gives young players a lot of confidence because he comes across as a very collected, smart man. Additionally, he seems to have a strong organisational structure and a staff that he has a lot of faith in. I'm hoping he's the ideal candidate to return Chelsea to their rightful place.

This preseason will be important to attempt and get everyone on the same page regarding the club's future.
Any moves the manager makes regarding player sales and signings will definitely need the owners' approval.
