Beginning with Chelsea, Kalidou Koulibaly leaves for the Saudi Pro League.

Kalidou Koulibaly, the captain of Senegal, signed Al-Hilal from Chelsea on Sunday, making him the newest famous person to travel to Saudi Arabia.

Senegal's captain Kalidou Koulibaly signed Al-Hilal from Chelsea on Sunday, the Premier League club announced, making him the newest famous person to travel to Saudi Arabia. Koulibaly just last year transferred from Napoli to the Blues for an alleged $42 million (163 million pounds). Although Chelsea finished 12th in the Premier League, their lowest league position since 1994, the 32-year-old struggled there.

After completing a permanent transfer to Saudi Professional League team Al-Hilal, Koulibaly has departed Chelsea, according to a statement from the club.

We would like to express our gratitude to Kalidou for his services both on and off the pitch during his time at Stamford Bridge and our best wishes for his future career.

The Saudi Pro League, supported by the country's sovereign wealth fund, is wooing top players from the top European teams with the promise of enormous earnings.

The movement was triggered by Cristiano Ronaldo's transfer to Al Nassr in January.

Karim Benzema, a former teammate of his from Real Madrid, and N'Golo Kante, a French World Cup champion from Chelsea, have just joined Al-Ittihad.

Chelsea might continue to benefit from the Saudi investment.

While Moroccan winger Hakim Ziyech is supposedly on the verge of joining Al Nassr, custodian Edouard Mendy is apparently close to joining Al Ahli.

The English club has spent more than 163;500 million on new acquisitions over the past 12 months and must try to sell players by the end of the month in order to abide with financial fair play standards.
