According to a TalkSPORT story, Chelsea has allegedly'made contact' with PSG to talk about a prospective trade for Brazilian phenom Neymar.
Although the Blues have not yet made an official offer, Neymar and PSG are said to be 'open' to the notion of him heading to Stamford Bridge.
Neymar's PSG contract is set to run out in the summer of 2025. As a result, any team that wants to sign him will probably have to pay a significant sum. The price PSG will demand in order to release Neymar is currently unknown.
If Neymar were to join Chelsea, their roster would already be overloaded with wingers and offensive midfielders. While signing the 31-year-old would undoubtedly get the most attention, from a logistical and tactical standpoint, it might not make a lot of sense to promote shirt sales.
Who else is considering Neymar except Chelsea?
Although no firm information has emerged as of yet, Manchester United and Arsenal have both been mentioned in connection with a deal for Neymar in recent months [per the Metro].
The Brazilian superstar could prefer a move to Manchester or North London over Chelsea because these two teams are both expected to participate in the Champions League next season.
