Thiago Silva will be remembered by Chelsea fans with a new Stamford Bridge display.
In the season's last games, supporters will display tributes in the Matthew Harding Stand.

Chelsea supporters paid to have a banner honouring Thiago Silva unfurled inside Stamford Bridge prior to one of their final two home games.

To honour Mason Mount, Reece James, and Frank Lampard, a banner is being created to hang in the Matthew Harding Stand.

After playing away matches against both Manchester clubs, Chelsea will visit Newcastle on the last day of the season before hosting Nottingham Forest on Saturday.

The only player to publicly criticize the club's ownership was 38-year-old Silva after Chelsea was eliminated from the Champions League by Real Madrid last month.

Silva claimed that the club's weak transfer strategy has hampered them and caused tension in the locker room.

He asserts that the team has suffered as a result of "indecision" at the club's top and has cautioned that a strategy shift is necessary to prevent further suffering the following year.

The first step, in my opinion, has already been taken—it was a mistake, but it was still a step. If we don't accept responsibility, we can't blame the managers. The club is going through a challenging time with lots of uncertainty.

"We had to expand the changing room because it didn't fit the size of the squad due to a change in ownership and new players entering.

The squad has some outstanding players, which is a plus, but there will inevitably be unsatisfied guys as well.

Considering that not everyone is able to play, there will always be someone who is upset. It's challenging for the manager to choose 11 players from a roster of players in their 30s.
