Reece James believes that recent Chelsea additions is going to release Chelsea defenders.
Reece James is certain that the club's January transfer window acquisitions will prove beneficial in the long run.
The Blues spent nearly €300 million in one of the most spectacular windows in history last month.
This resulted in the purchase of Enzo Fernandez, Mykhailo Mudryk, Malo Gusto, Benoit Badiashile, Joao Felix, David Datro Fofana, Noni Madueke, and Andrey Santos.
Although James said that he doesn't like the January transfer window, the Englishman is happy with Chelsea's business and believes that his squad will eventually rank among the greatest in the world.
James told Sky Sports, "The transfer window is one of my biggest hates because the January period is typically so packed with many games and then you have transfer chatter - it's all a bit too much.
"I like playing with new guys since you never quite know what to anticipate from them.
"The sooner they feel at ease and settled, the sooner they may take advantage of our assistance. There isn't a trophy that we (Chelsea) can't win, in my opinion.
"I think we're going to be one of the best teams in the world with the team we're building, with all the young players," the coach said.
Despite their spending binge, Chelsea remain ninth in the Premier League standings and have only won one of their eight games overall since the new year.
Graham Potter is not currently under pressure, however, as the new Chelsea owners are still convinced that the English manager is the best candidate for the position.
Chelsea will try to get its winning streak back on track against Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday after three consecutive draws.
