Pundit warns Blues to avoid Neymar Jr. of PSG because "Chelsea doesn't need another ego"

The suggestion from Gabby Agbonlahor is that Chelsea not buy Neymar from Paris Saint-Germain.
Pundit After learning that Chelsea was interested in the 31-year-old Brazilian, Gabby Agbonlahor encouraged Chelsea not to purchase Neymar from Paris Saint-Germain.

Chelsea, who had interest in signing the former Barcelona player before, might revive that desire. Neymar is one of the players that PSG are trying to sell.

Mauricio Pochettino will soon be named Chelsea's new permanent manager for the upcoming season.

Pundit advises Chelsea not to purchase Neymar, according to transfer news.

Neymar, who was having a successful streak, will be out for the entire season due to an ankle injury. The former Santos forward has scored 13 goals and provided 12 assists in 20 Ligue 1 games.

In an interview with Football Insider, pundit Agbonlahor suggested Chelsea skip the Brazilian signing.

Neymar is an injury-prone player who is unreliable, thus we most definitely don't need him. It makes little sense to bring Neymar to Chelsea given that he has a history of ailments since joining PSG and that they may be looking to get rid of him for the upcoming season.

For the upcoming season, we should still look for a striker and a holding midfielder even though we already have enough players to fill his position. We are unable to afford his huge wage. It would have made sense to invest on the 31-year-old if he had a spotless fitness record.

But that's not the case at all. His playing days are coming to an end, and it appears that his greatest years are behind him. We have already made significant investments in young players, therefore it is ideal that we make any additional expenditures in individuals who will immediately improve the squad, demonstrate dedication, and provide us with several years of top-tier service.
