Lampard remains unaffected by Chelsea fans' booing during the substitution

In the 3-1 victory against Bournemouth, Frank Lampard downplayed the jeers from certain Chelsea supporters when he substituted Raheem Sterling and Hakim Ziyech.

Benoit Badiashile and Joao Felix's late goals gave Lampard his first Blues victory since taking over as interim manager.

Following the team's terrible season, the traveling fan base also yelled profanities at joint-owner Todd Boehly.

Six losses in a row came to an end with the victory.

Midway through the second half, Lampard introduced Sterling and Ziyech, and the two overcame the hostile reaction from their own supporters to help secure the team's first Premier League victory since March 11.

"Our fans were fantastic, and I personally appreciate their support," stated Lampard.

"At the conclusion of the game, we had a moment where everyone felt wonderful for the day.

"It's critical to forge a bond between the players and the supporters.

"But they all had an impact on the subs themselves. We gained some composure on the ball thanks to Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Raheem, and Raheem then contributed to the third goal. Hakim entered the game, assisted on a goal, and had excellent play.

"Opinions might always shift over time, but these two guys desire nothing more than to succeed for Chelsea and as footballers.

"There may have been some underperformance this year, but I believe class is permanent, and I am happy with the impact whey had on things."

Chelsea is now evaluating a hamstring injury sustained by Ben Chilwell in the second half.
