Kepa Arrizabalaga of Chelsea has been nominated for the April Premier League Save of the Month Award.

The Spaniard received the nomination as a result of his outstanding save against Evan Ferguson of Brighton at Stamford Bridge last month.

A game-highlight showed the moment the young Irish striker appeared poised to head in a floated cross from six yards out, but Kepa raced to his left and deftly deflected the attempt from beneath his crossbar.

Brilliant reaction work prevented Brighton from scoring a definite equaliser.

Along with David De Gea (Manchester United), Lukasz Fabianski (West Ham), Daniel Iversen (Leicester City), Aaron Ramsdale (Arsenal), and Bernd Leno (Fulham), Kepa is one of six candidates for the April award.

Recall that Kepa was nominated in January and February in addition to winning the award in October, which was new for this season.
