Chelsea seeks to replace Kepa with the "Worst goalkeeper in the Premier League."

Chelsea is now targeting the Premier League's most prone to mistakes shot-stopper in their ongoing quest for a goalkeeper.

For a while now, Stamford Bridge's goalkeeping staff has been a source of worry. Questions linger ahead of the upcoming season due to Kepa Arrizabalaga's failure to even come close to living up to his €80 million world-record fee and Edouard Mendy's failure to quite make the anticipated impression since joining.

Even while Chelsea is eager to extend Mendy's contract and is open to the prospect of keeping Kepa, they have recently been scanning the market for a new, long-term number one.

Chelsea and Pickford?
Chelsea and Tottenham have reportedly been keeping an eye on Everton star Jordan Pickford as a potential target, according to journalist Ben Jacobs.

Frank Lampard, a former manager of the Toffees, is currently in charge of the Blues, but he won't likely have much of a role in any prospective transfers given that Mauricio Pochettino will take over this summer. He could, however, be able to put in a good word.

The No. 1 goalkeeper for England is more than capable, and even a possible Everton relegation won't have a large negative impact on his reputation. However, Chelsea supporters may be concerned about one particular aspect.

Pickford has committed more errors than any other goalkeeper in the past five Premier League seasons, surpassing David de Gea of Manchester United with 13. Pickford might be a wonderful addition for Chelsea, but shouldn't the Blues be focusing their search on players like Inter's Andre Onana?
