Intriguing 'leak' of the custodian shirt for the home uniform of the upcoming season surfaced this week. According to the website Footy Headlines, it was a metallic ensemble with a gold Nike swoosh and Chelsea crest that was "futuristic."
The kit has the hues "anthracite and grey" on the strip, and because of the material, it seems different from every perspective. The keeper uniform will look exactly like Nike's 2023–24 keeper designs for other clubs.
Situation with sponsors
Chelsea's uniform sponsors will also change, so the modifications go beyond the appearance. For an estimated £40 million ($50 million), the mobile phone network Three presently sponsors the front of the Blues' uniforms.
As Three's contract was set to expire this summer, there were rumours that Chelsea planned to dismiss them earlier this year. Concerns exist around shirt sponsors WhaleFin, a cryptocurrency company that pays about £20 million ($25 million) annually.
What might happen next
Only a few weeks ago, sources claimed that Allianz, an insurance, was in talks to take over for Three as the club's sponsor. It would undoubtedly be desirable to have a well-known, "blue chip" sponsor on the club's shirt.
'A handful' of businesses are reportedly in talks with Chelsea about being the team's next primary sponsor, according to a Sky News report from April. Even at the end of last month, it was said that a deal might be reached in the next six weeks.
