Even if Mauricio Pochettino is hired manager of Chelsea, Frank Lampard will continue to play.

Frank Lampard is anticipated to continue serving as Chelsea's interim manager through the remainder of the current campaign, whether or not the club decides to employ Mauricio Pochettino on a permanent basis during this campaign.

The former Blues player was appointed interim head coach because Chelsea's management needed more time to find the best candidate to coach the Stamford Bridge squad, according to Daily Mail.

Graham Potter, who only managed 31 games, was fired by the West Londoners. But since his appointment, the 44-year-old has dropped his first four games, leaving the team with just seven games remaining in the regular season.

The Blues have spoken with Mauricio Pochettino, Julian Nagelsmann, and Luis Enrique since his hire. The rumour is that Chelsea will be led by the former manager of Southampton for the forthcoming season.

Chelsea was unable to reach a deal, much like Julian Nagelsmann, the former manager of Bayern Munich, did last week.
Along with Vincent Kompany, who guided Burnley to Premier League promotion in his debut season in charge, there was another unidentified manager on the list. They are now en route to winning the championship.

This seems like a wise move because it would spare Pochettino from being subjected to excessive pressure from the public and media if things don't work out right away. That would imply that he will start the 2023–24 season under more strain. We won't do well under a new boss till the conclusion of the season based on where we are at the moment.

Since he would have plenty of time during preseason to get to know the players and establish his philosophy with the squad, it would be wise for him to take over before the beginning of the following season.

However, that does not entail excluding the Argentine from the group. If he gets hired in the upcoming weeks, we must give him some access to training and make sure he has interaction with players so he can begin to decide what he wants and doesn't want for the upcoming season. If we were to persuade him to sign documents and keep him out of club operations until the season was over, it would be a waste of time.

With seven games remaining and nothing left to lose, we should let Lampard continue until the end of the season in the hopes that we do not finish lower than tenth.
