Chelsea prepares for Brighton without a manager: video
3 hours ago, Mark White published a piece.
Under Frank Lampard, Chelsea lost for the third time in a row. In one video, it appeared as though the players were coaching themselves.

In the defeat against Brighton & Hove Albion, the "managerless" Chelsea players appeared to organise the team by themselves.

Frank Lampard's return to Stamford Bridge took a turn for the worse as the Blues suffered their third straight defeat against the Seagulls. Under their new interim manager, Chelsea has already dropped three straight games, has gone five Premier League games without a victory, and has only achieved three victories since the start of the year.

A lot of Chelsea players were puzzled on the pitch and organised the team among themselves, despite Lampard making six changes from the lineup that lost to Real Madrid in midweek.

One Twitter user, @CFCDUBois, wrote, "We are managerless," while also uploading a clip of captain Kepa Arrizabalaga attempting to motivate his team.

One person responded, "Kepa is a better manager than Lampard," while another said, "Kepa bringing authority to the back line" is what has occurred to my great club.

In their match against Brighton, Chelsea were defeated by a breathtaking Julio Enciso goal, giving the Seagulls a remarkable 2-0 victory over them this year. Graham Potter, who naturally departed the Amex early this season to assume the manager's job in west London, has since been fired; in contrast, Roberto De Zerbi, who succeeded him, has received praise and appears to be headed for a run at the European football championship.

This week's second-leg Champions League match between the Blues and Real Madrid promises to be a game-changer for their season. With 39 points this season, Chelsea is mathematically unable to compete in Europe's top league the next year.
