greater Chelsea humiliation as a management choice finally succeeds
Thomas Tuchel's problems have protected Todd Boehly from additional humiliation at Stamford Bridge, according to Chelsea reports.

Thomas Tuchel, a former manager of Chelsea, can only continue where he left off, and not in a positive way either, since the club is still looking for a third permanent head coach under the current ownership group. The German has been back in charge for a little more than a month, but he has had trouble undoing Julian Nagelsmann's decisions.

After facing a crucial few weeks in the Bundesliga and Champions League, Bayern Munich decided to part ways with the highly regarded 35-year-old. Things have become worse for Tuchel and his team after an explosive first 45 minutes in which they went up 3-0 and defeated championship rivals Borussia Dortmund 4-2.

In his last six games, Tuchel has managed just one victory and three losses. The German powerhouses have been eliminated from the domestic cup and Europe, and after another defeat, this time to Mainz, they are no longer in charge of their own destiny in the Bundesliga. With seven games remaining, Dortmund might gain one point if they win their game in hand.

They had only dropped two of their previous 16 league games under Nagelsmann, and they had also advanced past Paris Saint-Germain in Europe. But in addition to allegedly failing to live up to the expectations of what a Bayern coach should appear and act like, he is thought to have developed a rift with a number of his players.

Despite the outcomes, it seems like Nagelsmann's worst setback came from off-field issues. Few anticipated that the Champions League winner and fan favourite would be fired so soon, despite the fact that he had a difficult start to the season and a shaky stretch at the conclusion of the previous campaign as well.

Boehly and Co. wanted a manager who was more apt to work top-down and within a framework rather than one who had more independence in the position, which was Tuchel's main complaint. The American co-owner spoke about this at a conference the previous year. "You have to make sure you are aligned with the people in the business when you take over any business," he stated.

"Tuchel is also obviously very gifted and a someone who achieved incredible success with Chelsea.

"Our goal for the team was to hire a coach and a manager who were genuinely interested in working together. In order to create a cohesive team, everything must run like a well-oiled machine. The truth of our choice was that we weren't certain Thomas shared our perspective.

Neither right nor wrong exists. Simply put, we lacked a common outlook on the future. Zagreb wasn't the topic. It has to do with our common ideal of how Chelsea should appear. A single win or loss had no bearing on the choice that was made. We decided that it was the best course of action for the club.

Tuchel has already experienced issues resembling those he had while at Chelsea, including as a dearth of goals and inventiveness in his early days with Bayern. His midweek red card against Manchester City again showed his unhappiness and displeasure.

Even though things at Chelsea haven't exactly gone smoothly while he's been away, the owners would have been embarrassed to see the 49-year-old triumph in Germany as the Blues look for a new head coach.

Fortunately, the situation only appears to be moderately terrible.
