Four Chelsea players are on Florentino Perez's wishlist for Real Madrid.
Florentino Perez, president of Real Madrid, is reportedly interested in four Chelsea first-team players ahead of the transfer window.

The La Liga powerhouses from Spain will be aiming to strengthen their already elite team over the summer.

Reece James, Mason Mount, and Ruben Loftus Cheek, three members of Chelsea's England team, are the targets of Perez, according to the Spanish news outlet Fichajes.

The president of Madrid is reportedly also interested in bringing Mateo Kovacic back to the team after selling him to Chelsea in 2018.

It is anticipated that Kovacic will compensate for the loss of either Toni Kroos or Luka Modric.

According to Fichajes, Madrid would be willing to spend more than 100 million dollars to acquire the English right back.

Due to their contracts, Mount and Loftus Cheek will be less expensive choices; nonetheless, the manager may choose to rotate both players.

As contract negotiations stalemate, Mount has been linked with moves away from Chelsea over the past few weeks.

The present contract for the 24-year-old is slated to expire at the conclusion of the 23–24 season, and Chelsea will have to decide this summer whether to sell him if an agreement cannot be reached.

Frank Lampard, Chelsea's temporary manager, recently discussed Mount.

Mason has always been a great player for me at Derby and Chelsea, he claimed.

"I am aware of his minor injury issues. I need to talk to him and find out where he is, but I already know what Mason will tell me. He is a vital member of Chelsea's team.

"Today's football has large squads, and I understand Chelsea might be at the top end," continued Lampard. I recall having that when I was previously present here.

"Perhaps in the short term, that's good for me because everyone can start over," you say.

Lampard's second tenure as Chelsea manager has not gone well; the Blues have lost three straight games to Wolves, Real Madrid, and most recently Brighton.

On Tuesday night, Lampard's team plays again when they take on Madrid in the Champions League.
