Darren Bent urges Chelsea to sell him for £150,000 a week because Lampard continues benching him.

Darren Bent allegedly pushed Chelsea to offload Ruben Loftus-Cheek after the season.

The 27-year-old Ruben Loftus-Cheek's Chelsea career hasn't exactly reached the pinnacles that many anticipated.

The club's academy graduate has served as a good squad option in recent years, but he hasn't been able to establish himself at Stamford Bridge as a crucial player. His best Chelsea season, under Maurizio Sarri, was really the 2018–19 one.

It will be intriguing to watch what Chelsea does with Loftus-Cheek this summer given that he has just over a year left on his current contract.

This week, The Evening Standard reported that Chelsea may be open to selling Loftus-Cheek during the summer transfer season.

Let's see if anyone is interested in the central midfielder making £120,000 per week (Spotrac).

Since coming back to the Bridge, Chelsea's interim manager Frank Lampard has continued to bench Loftus-Cheek.

However, we are unsure of what the club's incoming permanent manager will think of him.

In order to show everyone his talent, Loftus-Cheek might aim to play in one of the season's final seven games.

Bent, a TalkSPORT analyst, believes that Loftus-Cheek should eventually leave Chelsea.

"Loftus-Cheek has probably been there for a while. Bent said on talkSPORT, "It's almost like we're still waiting for Loftus-Cheek to [realize] his potential.

"No, I believe his time has passed. I believe they should release him.

When considering possible exits in the summer timeframe, we believe that this is a no-brainer.
