Kanté is leaving the Blues for Al Ittihad, and Chelsea is paying respect to him.

N'Golo Kante departs Chelsea Football Club on a massive contract for Saudi Arabia despite almost agreeing to a new contract a few months ago.

a football player who embodies all that is admirable about the game. N'Golo Kante is and always will be that. He never made a scene or stirred up any type of controversy. He only possessed a smile bright enough to illuminate all of west London

. His mentality both on and off the pitch of play was unrivalled, and the West Londoners are unable to replace him on the pitch. For years, he commuted in a low-cost Mini Copper until being compelled to upgrade. That was how he came across—humble and unafraid to show the world who he really was.

There was always a chance that Kante's time at Chelsea Football Club would end after contract negotiations between the two parties stopped.

Fabrizio Romano reports that Kante has agreed to a two-year contract to join the nine-time Saudi Pro League winners Al Ittihad in Saudi Arabia. Nuno Espirito Santo, a former manager of Wolves and Tottenham, is joined by Kante. Espirito Santo most recently guided his team to its first league championship since 2009.
The announcement follows Real Madrid star Karim Benzema's announcement that he would be leaving the Spanish superpower on a record-breaking contract with the same club. You can't blame a player for accepting a contract with a salary that may total €100 million (£86.2 million) annually. All you can do is shake your head in admiration and remember the moments he played in a Chelsea jersey while ranking among the top players in the world.
