Andre Onana has made it known that he is open to moving to Chelsea this summer

It sounds like Onana would be willing to leave if the Italian powerhouses accepted a deal, or he would be content to remain if Simone Inzaghi decided to take a hands-off approach.

It's interesting to note that there appears to be a contract in place for the 27-year-old's services.

Tutto Mercato Web reports that Chelsea have made a £34 million offer for Onana as Mauricio Pochettino looks to replace Kepa Arrizabalaga and Edouard Mendy.

Therefore, a deal may now be on if Inter Milan decides they need that money more than they need Onana.

Onana would make Chelsea better.

In our opinion, Chelsea would make a great choice by signing Onana.

The Cameroonian custodian had a remarkable 2022–23 season, recording 19 shutouts in 41 games while allowing just 36 goals.

Onana also made an impression with his passing abilities from the back during the season; in particular, he excelled in playing past Manchester City's press in the Saturday Champions League final.

Modern goalkeepers must possess the maturity and technical proficiency of the 27-year-old. Kepa and Mendy actually don't have the same skills with the ball at their feet.

Keep an eye on this scenario because Onana might be departing Inter Milan at this point.
