Learn Lautaro Martinez's asking price, say Manchester United and Chelsea

This summer, Lautaro Martinez is said to be wanted by both Manchester United and Chelsea, and it is said that Inter Milan would accept a £69.5 million deal for him.

With 52 appearances in all competitions and 25 goals and 10 assists, the 25-year-old has been in excellent form for Inter during the 2022–23 season.

In 35 Serie A games, Martinez has scored 20 goals and provided six assists. In 10 Champions League games, where Milan giants advanced to the competition's final, Martinez scored three goals and provided three assists.

The Argentine international, whose contract at San Siro has another three years remaining to run, is reportedly a target for both Man United and Chelsea.

Javier Zanetti, vice president of Inter, has downplayed rumours that Martinez would quit the team during the summer transfer window.

Martinez won't be leaving Inter this summer, according to Inter CEO Guiseppe Marotta, but the Italian club's financial difficulties may force them to sell.

Football Insider claims that if Inter were to get a bid in the neighbourhood of £69.5 million, they would permit the Argentine to leave during the forthcoming transfer window.

According to the rumour, Martinez is a major admirer of new Chelsea head coach Mauricio Pochettino, who is eager to sign him to Stamford Bridge this summer.

However, the London club's failure to participate in the 2023–24 Champions League will probably prevent them from acquiring the South American.

This summer, Man United will also be looking for a star striker, with Harry Kane of Tottenham Hotspur reportedly being their top target.

The 20-time English champions won't get involved in a protracted saga regarding the England captain, though, as Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is anticipated to oppose a move to a domestic competitor.

Martinez joined Inter from Racing Club in July 2018, and since then, he has played 233 times for the Serie A team, making 99 goals and 34 assists.

The attacker has also played 48 times for Argentina, scoring 21 goals, and he made six appearances for his nation at the 2022 World Cup.

Romelu Lukaku's impending return to Chelsea at the end of the current campaign and Edin Dzeko's expiring contract mean that there could be significant changes to Inter's attack this summer.
