According to Frank Lampard: He has a good level of skill and understands what is expected of him in practise

"Enzo understands. He has a good level of skill and understands what is expected of him in practise and as a Chelsea player. Some athletes just get it. When you collaborate with someone, you generally grasp things fast.

"With Enzo, I've been impressed with him as a player, his attitude towards practise and competition, his tenacity, and something about him, when he doesn't speak the language very well, but he's learning quickly."

"I have a lot of trust that Enzo will play a significant role in what transpires here in the club's future. Due to his timing and the fact that he has already made a significant transfer to the Premier League and won the World Cup, I do feel a little sorry for him. At the conclusion of this season, he should be reclining back, kicking off his shoes, and exclaiming, "What a year." However, I believe he will be crucial to the future in terms of his ability to influence it.

‘’He could likely play in every midfield position, but after watching him train and play and getting a sense of him, I believe he has more to offer than to be a single-six. He can also play as a double-six, where he can participate more in the game and play as an eight, and offer the really strong traits he possesses throughout his game.

‘’Since he has been the most natural six out of a midfield that doesn't have many natural sixes throughout my time here, I haven't really asked him that question. Since that is where Enzo has played, kudos to him for never telling me the position wasn't for him. His approach has always been to put the team first.

‘’But I believe that moving future, he can participate much more in the game. He played in the double-six against Man City, and we seen glimpses of it. He ended up a little bit higher up the field and has a great vision for playing forward.

In my perspective, we as a team haven't been pushing forward or being more direct in our style higher up the field, finding passes that really challenge the opponent, enough at the moment. Being higher up the field is advantageous for both Enzo and the player who can play the pass. #CFC
