Despite rumours that he is being lined up for a potential return to Chelsea or Real Madrid, Jose Mourinho has come under fire for his coaching approach.
According to reports this week in Spain, Chelsea has "initiated contact" with Mourinho about a stunning summer transfer to Stamford Bridge.
If Carlo Ancelotti leaves at the end of the current campaign, Mourinho has also been mentioned as making a shocking comeback to Real Madrid.
Despite being third in Serie A, his Roma team's plodding style of play has drawn criticism after their 1-0 victory over Torino on Saturday.
On evaluating Mourinho's coaching, Antonio Cassano said: "If Los Blancos seek a coach, they won't call Mourinho for their new project.
"Mou doesn't care about football," someone said. Don't be deceived by his story; he doesn't like to work and has poor communication or speaking skills.
In response to his detractors, Mourinho said: "You win games when you score one more goal than your opponent.
"If you triumph 1-0 or 5-4, it doesn't matter. The game is won by whoever scores one more goal. Because winning is the goal of sports.
The goal is to win as many games as you can using the qualities you have at your disposal while attempting to cover up your deficiencies.
